Board of Directors
The Fresno Arts Council (FAC) Board of Directors is made up of citizens interested in the mission of the FAC. In addition to being committed to the arts and culture in Fresno, their professions extend to business, education, social work, local and state government, city planning and studio art. They are a working board that participates in fundraising, advocating for the arts and promoting programs of the FAC.

Staff Members
The FAC's staff consists of an executive director, an administrative assistant, an accountant that works in the office one half day per week, a part-time marketing director, a curator and an assistant.
Joyce Aiken, Executive Director
Ms. Aiken is a Professor Emeritus of Art, 1961-1992, CSUFresno, exhibiting artist and author. She was the Chair of the CSUF Art Dept., 1979-83 and a founding member of the Alliance for the Arts, State Local Partner, 1979, later the Fresno Arts Council (FAC). Present affiliations include; Arts and Humaniites Advisory Board, CSUF; Council of 100 Board, Fresno Art Museum; Downtown Fresno Coalition, Board.
She was chosen as one of "80 Women to Watch in the 80's" by Ms. Magazine and was the recipient of the "Outstanding Achievement in the Visual Arts" award from the Women's Caucus for Art in 2001. Ms. Aiken has served as the Executive Director of the FAC since September 2004.
Maria Franco, Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Franco has been with the FAC since 2000. She has over 35 years experience in clerical and office management. Mrs. Franco was an Office Manager at ABC Colleges for ten years. She was employed for 20 years with the City of Fresno and retired as Executive Secretary with the Housing and Community Development Department.
Jane Hoffman, Accountant
Ms. Hoffman provides financial review of work completed by the Administrative Assistant. She completes all quarterly and annual reports for both Federal and State agencies. She has worked in the non-profit sector for the past three years along with her other clients. She helps administer fundraising events and promotes the FAC to other organizations within the community.
Victor Ramayrat, Marketing Director
Mr. Ramayrat volunteers as a Marketing Director and is responsible for most of its marketing strategy and direction. Upon joining the staff of FAC, he got his work started by creating the Fresno Arts Network, an online portal for artists and art venues in Fresno. Mr. Ramayrat is the owner of Socient LLC, a business development consultancy in Fresno.
