California Arts Council Conducts Listening Tour for New Strategic Plan: Fresno event on May 9
The California Arts Council is in the process of creating a new Strategic Plan. To do so, the Arts Council is conducting a “listening tour,” a series of meetings to ask for input from the arts field and other interested Californians. We need your input! We want to hear your thoughts on:
—How can the Arts Council best serve California through the arts?
—How can the Arts Council provide leadership?
—How can the Arts Council use its existing resources most effectively?
—How can the Arts Council expand resources for the arts in California?
Fresno’s meeting will take place from 9:30-11:00 on May 9 at the University SquareHotel, 4961 North Cedar Avenue, Fresno. No RSVP is necessary.
Anyone interested is invited to join in on one or more of the listening tour events. Additional site meetings are planned; see: http://www.cac.ca.gov/newsroom/atthecacdetail/id/523 . If the details for a location aren’t shown on this webpage yet, as plans firm up we’ll be noting them in our e-newletter, the California ArtBeat, and our Facebook page, as well as updating the webpage.
