This is the first concert of a heroic 2026-27 season with Youth Orchestras of Fresno! We are celebrating all the marvel-ous heroic music that we can, as well as celebrating our Super Conductor Dr Thomas Loewenheim as he celebrates 20 years with YOOF!
Our youngest players, in the Youth Chamber Orchestra, will play music by Carl Stamitz, as well as the Batman theme!
Our Youth Symphony Orchestra will play Schubert’s famous “Unfinished” Symphony.
And our advanced Youth Philharmonic Orchestra will play Tchaikovsky’s beloved sixth symphony and the sprightly Danzón No. 2 by Mexican composer Arturo Márquez.
