A NOTE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY

The health and safety of the ArtHop and Fresno County communities remains our top priority. The Fresno Arts Council is working closely with local and state officials to plan for the safest ArtHop experience possible. Reopening dates may shift, which allows us to work collectively with local arts venues to determine any new safety procedures necessary to implement during ArtHop activities.

As protocols continue to evolve rapidly regarding public gatherings, our guidance for best practices to be followed at public ArtHop gatherings are also evolving. Once final protocols are established, we will post all requirements here.

YOUR COVID-19 RISK

We are relieved and hopeful to see the COVID-19 situation improving across the country but we are still monitoring matters closely here in Fresno County as ArtHop is identified as a Tier 4 activity in California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy Plan. We will follow the recommended health and safety guidelines put forth by the authorities. In the meantime, please help us achieve our goals by continuing to wear masks and get vaccinated when it is your turn to do so!.

As of May 11, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have authorized the use of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children between the ages of 12-15 years. Furthermore, the CDC also stated, on May 13, 2021, that fully-vaccinated individuals may resume to normal activities, indoors or outdoors (masks not required), without posting a risk for transmitting the virus to others or requiring hospitalization for serious symptoms (if exposed to COVID-19).

Please be aware that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By participating in a large, in-person gathering, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against the City and County of Fresno, the event organizers, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks. You expressly agree to comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinance, regulations, and the rules of the event organizers when attending this, and future, in-person ArtHop events.

SECURITY MEASURES

We take security and safety at ArtHop seriously and hope you will help us in our collective effort in following all measures. Our security protocols (TBA) will be created in the interest of protecting the health of everyone including art patrons, venue staff, vendors, and artists. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make ArtHop the safest experience possible for everyone to enjoy.
